Saturday was a big day. My shed was finally erected at our allotment. Click on the photos for bigger images.
The front and back were constructed at home. The base was a very large pallet. The rest is 2 x 2 and screws from B&Q so it's not just pallets.
I opted to clad the sides of the shed onsite choosing a vertical scheme due to the thickness and general length of the wood. For the floor we’d found a big sheet of hardwood ply.
Once the cladding was finished the felt and door went on. The door I found in a skip but had never been used and with a lick of paint looked like new!
We call the shed 'The Saloon'. It’s quite a modest build but it can quite happily sit two people along with all the tools etc.
